The South Windsor Jaycees

Welcome to The South Windsor Jaycees Website

The South Windsor Jaycees is an organization of young people, ages 21 to 40, that wish to develop leadership skills by helping their community. With more than 35 members, the South Windsor Jaycees are able to complete over 60 projects annually with almost 25 of those benefiting the local community in some way.  Thanksgiving Baskets for the needy, Food Drives, Winter Clothing Drive, Traveler's Championship Ticket Sales, holiday contributions and more benefit thousands of people and animals each year while raising significant dollars for various charities locally and nationally.

Paws in the ParkThe South Windsor Jaycees are the organizers of two of the largest events each year in the South Windsor community. The annual Wapping Fair, featuring amazing attraction, awesome fireworks, hundreds of animals, rides, bands and more, draws over 20,000 people each year.  Paws in the Park, an all day dog festival, raises funds for Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation and the South Windsor Bark Park bringing in hundreds of people to watch demonstrations and take part in dog contests throughout the day.

The South Windsor Jaycees also regularly plan social activities for all to enjoy.  Bowling nights, whale watches, International dinners, family picnics and more are conducted every month to give members the chance to interact in a social environment and develop friendships.

Everyone is welcome to stop by our monthly membership meetings, first Tuesday every month at the South Windsor Community Center (room 207), or any of our events to learn more about the South Windsor Jaycees.  For more information contact us.
